My name is Vanessa, and I am a Trinidad girl living a Calgary life — with three beautiful daughters, a kitchen full of flavour, and a heart full of purpose.
When I moved to Calgary with my girls, I brought those flavours with me. And in a new city, far from home, I realised something: the table is where belonging begins.
Cooking isn't just something I enjoy — it is my ministry. Every meal I make is an act of love. Every table I set is an invitation to community. I believe God has placed this gift in my hands not just to feed people, but to connect them, comfort them, and remind them that they belong somewhere.
Jireh Catering is the name God gave me — Jireh, meaning "He will provide." Because provision has always shown up. Often in the form of a shared meal.
